Hey, I'm probably in the wrong by messaging you here (which I found through a link you sent to Alyssa). However, I wanted to be safe because I doubted you would've wanted to discuss it on my sandbox where people are constantly stopping through and judging everything. Basically, I wanted to discuss you stepping down from being Admin. It's not that I'm going to be begging or demanding you to stay on the Admin Team, because I'm under the belief that somebody shouldn't be capable of telling somebody to or making somebody stick under a position or a place they don't want to be. It's been recognized, from my side, that Carn's tendency to be aggressive really shined through there. It's something that comes naturally to all teenagers, though, so I'm not judging him harshly as a person. Jaye has cared enough to have contacted me about it, in hopes of defending Carn "doing his job," but it has not swayed me. It's understandable that you feel there's been a lot of hurt from the younger users (in terms of age and wiki age) towards the older users. I would've gotten bothered by it if it was me, which is coming from one of the people who had enforced a bad decision myself. I guess I wanted to let you know that I'm personally standing behind you and your opinions on the matter even if I starred as the antagonist in part of it as some point. I'm very sorry that this is what had happened from such a small issue or misunderstanding. It's a real shame and I hope that, even if not Admin, that you stick around on DARP, because you're truly a wonderful and helpful addition to the community. :)
Thanks, NAP, but I'm sick and tired of these people who have no idea how much work it is to keep an entirely voluntary project the size of DARP interesting and functional targetting those of us who do the work that makes their RPS possible, and feeling that their 'equal rights' have been notoriously abused if they don't get everything they see 'everyone else' having. Carn is an Admin, not Bcrat, no part of Sorting and Stores, and it was none of his business, except he felt a need to advance someone's grudge against Bond. If he'd said, "Can I check ...?" or "It seems as if ..." none of this would have happened, but someone who puts their 'leadership skills' in their Bcrat application really should demonstrate them. Leadership includes not always giving in to your friends, just because they are. So, in order not to rant on DARP, I'm taking a step back, and hoping I'll cool down shortly. The world is full of real problems with the imminent arrival of President Trump, but I'm afraid this was the last straw. Thanks for letting me know what you feel, and with luck I'll just quietly go back to being a regular user, and stick with RPing with the people I like, and who make me feel my time and effort is worthwhile.
